The Cinque Terre Martini

Muddle a slice or two of lemon and 3-4 basil leaves in the bottom of the small side of a shaker, add ice, 3 ounces of Vodka 14, and 1 ounce of simple syrup. Place the large side of the shaker upside down between two low ball glasses allowing space between the glasses. Light a sprig of rosemary on fire, let it burn a second, then blow out the flame. Place the smoking sprig beneath the opening of the shaker and allow the shaker to fill with smoke. Once full, without turning the smoke-filled shaker right side up, place the two parts of the shaker together and shake vigorously. Double strain into a martini glass, garnish with a slice of lemon and a basil leaf.
