The Spring Lavender Martini

This martini uses infused vodka to achieve a fresh, natural flavor. Start with two vanilla beans cut in half and placed in about 500mL of Vodka 14 in a sealed glass container for five to seven days. Sample the vodka to tell when the infusion is ready, it will take on a distinct vanilla flavor and aroma. When you’re ready to serve, pour three ounces of the infused Vodka 14 per martini into a shaker and add fresh lavender buds. Allow them to soak for 15 minutes to achieve a light infusion. Shake over ice and strain, garnishing with a lavender flower and a lime coated lightly in sugar.
