The Rhubarb Pie

The distinctive and sumptuous flavor of rhubarb is the main ingredient in this unusual but simple cocktail, a perfect addition to any seasonal cocktail list. Start with chopped rhubarb and cook it until soft, adding sugar until the rhubarb is just the slightest bit tart. Transfer this to a blender and purée until smooth, then strain out the juice and allow it to cool, discarding the pulp. Mix one ounce of the rhubarb juice with two ounces of Vodka 14. Shake over ice and serve on the rocks in a lowball glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with a mint leaf and a cinnamon stick swizzle.
