The Pumpkin and Vanilla Infusion

Decorate for your Halloween party and prepare an exceptional libation in one shot with this scary-good three-ingredient infusion recipe. Cut about 1 cup of the pumpkin removed from your jack-o-lantern into small cubes and place them in a sealed glass container with 500mL of Vodka 14 (the bottle itself works nicely). Add 1 ounce of organic, fair trade vanilla extract (whole vanilla beans may also be used). Allow this mixture to infuse at room temperature for 3 to 5 days. Shake over ice and serve in a martini glass.
