This succulent, sweet original cocktail is one potent potion indeed, coming to us from the outstanding mixologists at Boulder’s Japango. Begin with an ounce of Papagayo Platinum Rum in a shaker. Add half an ounce of fresh-squeezed lime juice, 1 ounce of orgeat, and half an ounce of orange curaçao. Shake over ice and strain into a lowball glass with ice. Finish with a splash of cherry juice poured down the side and 0.5 ounces of Meyer’s Aged Dark Rum floated on the top.
