The Strawberry and Rosemary Infusion


This delicious infusion originated behind the bar of Mangia Mangia Restaurant in Clear Creek County, Colorado. Begin by placing a half dozen organic strawberries, quartered, and 750mL of Vodka 14 in a sealed glass container. Steep for five days, then add 2 whole sprigs of fresh rosemary and re-seal. Allow the mixture to steep about two more days, to taste. As the infusion progresses, the vodka will take on the red color of the strawberries, and while the fruit itself will begin to take on a paler hue. To serve, shake over ice and strain into a martini glass, garnished with a wedge of lime or a sprig of rosemary.
