The Royal Hawaiian

This tropical-themed cocktail, traditionally attributed to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, begins with 1.5 ounces of Juniper Green Gin. In a shaker, combine this with 1.5 ounces of fresh lemon juice, 1 ounce of pineapple juice, and a quarter ounce of orgeat (almond sugar) syrup. Gomme or simple syrup may be substituted. Shake over ice and strain into a martini glass with a lemon twist garnish or a pineapple wedge.
