The Breakfast Martini

Marmalade, a traditional breakfast ingredient, does very well in this cocktail best served at martini time, not breakfast time. Start with a spoonful of good quality orange marmalade. In a shaker, combine this with 3 ounces of Juniper Green London Dry Gin, 1 ounce of triple sec, 1 ounce of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, and 1 ounce of gomme or simple syrup. Shake thoroughly over ice and strain into a martini glass.
