Created by sommelier and mixologist Santiago Wilkinson at Boulder’s famed Mediterranean Restaurant, this cocktail uses fresh garden herbs to take the classic strawberry and bubbly combination to a new level. To create this cocktail for yourself, start by plucking a generous handful of fresh basil leaves and slicing a half dozen organic strawberries. Place these in a sealed container (the Vodka 14 bottle does nicely) with about 500mL Vodka 14 and allow to steep at room temperature for several days. Next, combine 2 ounces of the infused vodka, 1 ounce Lillet, and 2 ounces Prosecco in a martini shaker with ice. Shake gently and strain into a champagne flute. Garnish with a spring of fresh basil.
