The Black Maria

This caffeinated cocktail pairs two of the most treasured exports of the tropical south: coffee and rum. In a shaker, mix two ounces of coffee liqueur (we suggest Vapor Distillery’s Arrosta), two ounces of Papagayo Organic Platinum Rum, four ounces of fresh black coffee (chilled), and two teaspoons of powdered sugar. Shake vigorously over ice. Serve on the rocks in a tall glass.
